“This was the Chai Centre’s first Challah Bake! Rebbetzin Gail Michalowicz’s presentation was engaging, informative and meaningful for all who attended.

We learned about the history, prayers, deep connection, and importance of the entire process of baking and “taking challah” in helping us preserve and ensure our continued connection to family, the Jewish community, and Hashem.

Novices and more experienced challah bakers alike enjoyed the fun and creative process. The results were all successfully delicious!”
